It starts long before the first cut. 👀🌳

For this Solid American Oak project, the boys are laying out each individual panel and carefully matching the grain, colour and natural character of the timber.
Because no two pieces of solid timber are exactly the same, selecting which boards sit alongside each other makes a huge difference to how the finished piece looks.

A little extra time at this stage = a much more considered result at the end. 🤎
