Barn Restoration.

A few weeks back we wrapped up a solid restoration job on a 120-year-old barn at Glen Avon Country Airbnb.

Working alongside my good mate Pat Thurtell and the skilled team Kirby & Doug (who came all the way down from QLD), we tackled the exterior from the ground up. The original cladding had seen better days, so we stripped it back, repaired the ageing wall framing, and re-clad the barn in freshly oiled Queensland red stringy bark.

We also knocked over a few smaller repairs throughout the space to get it ready for future event use, maximising functionality while keeping the original character of this historic gem.
