Scope included stage structures, surface finishes, and production support engineered to hold up across two nights of continuous use, in a district where every build has to work around centuries-old architecture.

Wood gets chosen for more than color.

Some pieces call for a grain that runs straight and quiet. Others take a texture that catches light unevenly on purpose, with ridges and knots left visible instead of sanded away. These two decisions happen together, since a texture only works if the grain underneath is able to support it structurally and visually.

That selection process happens early, before a single cut is made, and it shapes everything that follows: how the piece finishes, how it ages, and how it reads once it’s in a room.

What ends up in front of a client is whatever combination of grain and texture reads as intentional rather than accidental, decided at the material stage, long before assembly begins.
